Rare French Cloth Art Doll from Russian atelier in Paris (c.1920) with stitch-shaped chiffon-covered face, pressed and painted facial features, side-glancing blue eyes with thick black eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, beautiful body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips.
She is wearing original traditional silk russian costume comprising red velvet vest with gilt metallic trimand beads, patterned silk apron, red silk skirt, cotton clouse, original cotton underwear, antique original red boots, silk socks.

18" (46cm) tall.

Good condition to age.
