13" (33 cm) Very beautiful Antique French Bru bebe doll from Gerard era, marked Bru Jne R 4, c.1890. Fortune teller

Captivating and very Decorative French Bisque Bebe Bru in Petite Size!
Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, long painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, accent outlines on lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over original cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body.

BRU French Bebe, marked Bru Jeune No. 4, fix inset blue Paperweight eyes, opened mouth, line of upper teeth, pierced ears, French jointed body, old cork cover, old blond mohair wig, her costume os richly embroidered with sequins and small heart-shaped bells.

Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Bru Jne R 4.
Comments: Bru, circa 1890.
Value Points: captivating diminutive bebe has original body and body finish, lovely bisque and expression.
The doll wears her original antique festivity costume portraying a fortune teller.
It is relatively rare to see an intact Bru fortune teller doll.
She has her original outfit, original hair set, and original beautiful color beads backet with her original fortunes.
