Rare German Bisque Character Doll, Model 2033, by Bruno Schmidt Known as Wendy

Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered upper brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with very full lips, blushed cheeks, impressed dimples at chin and philtrum, brunette hand-tied human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body.

Outstanding example of the very rare doll, with superb detail of sculpting so unusual in this petite size, choice bisque and painting, beautiful sculpted nose and lips, choice bisque and painting, very nice original factory dress and underwear, straw hat, original leather shoes.
Her small lamb toy is including.

12 1/2" (32cm) tall

Condition: generally excellent, original body.
Marks: 2033 BSW (in heart) 537.
