20.5" (52 cm) Walking & Kissing Limoges Bebe Doll
Marked 9 and LIMOGES FRANCE on bisque socket head. Blue glass eyes, open mouth with upper teeth, pierced ears, cork pate, old human hair wig. Jointed composition French walker body with original finish and crier that works well. When legs are moved, head turns and doll "cries". Short strings attached to holes in forearms suggest this is a walking, kiss-throwing function is good works.
She has a very-very small chip under right eye; doll is otherwise in excellent condition.
The body has a paper lable PARIS FABRICATION FRANCAISE SFBJ.
