Unusual and Rare Large french antique automaton "Lady on a sheep" with clockwork movement on the sheep's head.

French made lamb with german doll head of Alt, Beck & Gottschalk (marked with ABG and number of mould 1362). The doll sitting on a large French Paper Mache Nodding-Head Lamb with Fleecy Coat. The paper-mache lamb with shaved face and lower legs,closed mouth,amber glass eyes,attached ears. His head is loosely-attached in classic nodding fashion.
The doll wearing original costume, no hairlines, cracks, restoration on her head.
The mechainsm working well. All in excellent original condition!

French,circa 1890,a fine luxury toy.
