Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, original human hair wig and Steiner pate cork pate, French original Steiner composition and wooden fully-jointed body with excellent working "mama" crier.
Pretty child doll wearing original dress, beads, undergarments, socks, and leather shoes.

Condition: generally excellent.

Marks: "Le Parisien" (red stamp) Paris 11 (incised) and Bebe Le Parisien Medaille d'Or Paris (body).
An original store paper label at the back indicates its original purchase from the luxury Parisian toy store, Magasin des Enfants, located at Passage de L'Opera, and that the store had won medals at the Vienna and Paris Expositions of 1873 and 1878.
