Rare Roullet & Decamps French Automaton "Cat - Shoemaker", circa 1900.

He has white fur-covered body, green glass eyes, long flat feet for standing, upturned tail and papier-mache paws holding a hammer.

When a mechanism is working, the cat down and raises his head and hard knocks with a hammer on the heels.

He is 12 in. height ( 31 cm), with original RD key. The toy in excellent condition.
