are Musical Antique French Automaton with Jumeau Portrait Doll by Lambert, c. 1895 With unsigned Portrait Jumeau bisque portrait head impressed "7", closed mouth, fixed brown paperweight eyes, pierced ears, curly blonde mohair wig. Jumeau doll with a lorgnette in one hand and a fan in the other. When activated the music plays and the maiden looks about raises her left arm with her lorgnette, continues looking about while dropping her left arm and raising her right arm fanning herself. Sitting atop a velvet base, she is attired in an elaborate antique black taffeta dress and antique velvet hat. She is 17 1/2 in. (45 cm) height, very good condition to age.
