34in (86 cm) Rare Early Italian Felt Marquise Doll with her small lamb, Model 700, by Lenci with Fine Original Costume
Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, blue painted side-glancing eyes, umber upper eye shadow and painted lashes, grey lower eye shadow, fringed brows, closed mouth, two accent dots on bottom lip, blonde mohair wig in ringlet curls, elongated torso and limbs, jointing at shoulders and hips.
Her original off white felt lamb by Lenci 5 1/2" (11 cm) tall , with glass eyes, original collar with small bell, in good condition.

Condition: generally excellent. Mole hole on the forehead under the hair (please look the last photo). Very tiny mole holes on the dress, but very good condition to age.The doll has an original shoes with heels, muslin underwear, silk stocking, garters with felt roses.

Lenci, model 700, the model appeared in the company catalogs in this 34" size for 1-2 years only, 1929-1930.

Extremely rare model, virtually never found in this grand size, is wearing her original wonderful (!) costume with applique appliques of colorful felt flowers, black cap, and petticoats and pantalets, and her original small lamb.
These large lenci dolls are rarely found.
