Rare Antique Large Russian doll 478 by SHRAER & FINGERGUT Antique dolls at Respectfulbear.com

A very beautiful and very RARE Russian Antique Doll by Shraer and Fingergut marked 478 16. Great large size!
According to the book "Doll Makers & Marks", this doll number 478 is listed as unidentified but, the Doll Museum in Paris ad Russia believes this is a Russian Doll by Shraer and Fingergut. There is no Russian mark on this doll. The maker is an attribution only. These dolls are extremely hard to find!
She has open mouth with original porcelain teeth are even perfect, original rocker, glass brown eyes, pierces ears, original mohair wig.
She has original unusual Russian body with wooden legs and hands.
She is wearing antique batiste dress and white hat, antique underwear, socks and shoes.
Her small Santa is not including for this sale.

Condition: very good condition to age! Her bisque free of hairline, restoration or any damages, original body finish.

35 1/2" (90cm) tall.
Poland/Russia, c.1890 (Poland was part of the Russian Empire until 1917).
The mark is 478 on the back of her head and she was made by a Russian doll maker, Shraer & Fingergut (1884-1910).

Very rare large and all original model.
