Rare Antique French Bleuette DEP doll in original dress in Paris Bebe box

Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with modeled row of teeth, mohair wig,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, wearing antique original factory dress and underwear, socks, antique lace bonnet and vintage leather shoes.
The doll in the wooden Bebe Paris box.

Condition: generally excellent.
11" (27 cm.) tall.
Marks: DEP 1 (head) 2 (torso).
France, c.1909

SFBJ for les Editions Gautier-Languereau

The company Hubert Gautier and then Gautier-Languereau has used DEP heads before the First World War to replace the broken heads of Bleuette dolls during their after-sales service.
Very interesting doll is a part of Bleuette history.
