Bisque swivel head with very pale complexion,on kid-edged bisque torso,cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,closed mouth,blonde mohair wig in waist- length braids,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs,ball-jointed elbows,bare feet. Marks: Bte. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French,circa 1880,based upon the deposed model of Ferdinand Sustrac. Value Points: very rare mignonette with jointed elbows,bare feet,wonderful original wig and well detailed,multi-layered original costume.
