Bisque shoulder head with brown glass inset eyes, long painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, mohair wig, attached to ball-shaped torso with whistle-tip wooden handle, and having original silk and lace costume with brass bells.
Condition: generally excellent.

The marotte was designed for merry play at parties for, when twirled, music is created from the hidden music box in torso. Excellent condition, well-preserved luxury toy with beautiful costume and working music box!
