Rare Huret doll head! This is the main type of PREVOST-HURET art doll, taller to adjust to the new body and with more severe male-up.
Bisque socket head with classic Huret bulb-shaped throat plump cheeks, dark blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted dark lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, unpierced ears. Incised at the back HURET 3. France, c.1914-1918 Maison Huret, from the Elisa Prevost epoch. 3 1/2" (9cm) height. Condition: the bisque free of hairlines, restoration, damages.
