French composition and wooden
body with straight wrists and legs, black painted socks, wearing antique original woolen Breton fisherman costume with embroidery, black fisherman's hat with gold inscription CROISIE, and original shoes.

Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Paris GD 1 (head). Henri Delcroix,circa 1890.
10" (25 cm.) tall.

Rare to find doll with most expressive features,original body,choice bisque and painting,fine interesting historical costume.
