22" (56 cm.) Wonderful wide-eyed bebe has a bisque socket head, dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, dark painted curly lashes, brush-stroked brows, rose-blushed eye shadow, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, original human hair wig, composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips.
Her pate is a replacement made of cardboard.
Condition: generally excellent. Her perfect bisque head free of hairline, any damages, restoration, chips, etc. The head marked with the red stamped "Phenix" and an incised star and the number "93".
Her classic Steiner body in very good condition for age and has the blue Steiner stamp on the hip.
Jules Steiner, successors, the model was marketed as Bebe Phenix, circa 1895.

The doll wears lovely antique original sailor costume and leather sailor cap AU BON MARCHE - PARIS - MAISON ARISTIDE BOUCICAUT (gold stamp with lady figure)^ the cap a little damage at the back.
The doll has antique underwear (a chemise, petticoat and drawers), stockings, leather vintage shoes.
