Pressed bisque swivel head on kid- edged bisque shoulderplate, pale blue glass inset enamel eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow, arched multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with tiny modelled stuck-out tongue between the accented lips, pierced ears, original blonde mohair wig.
French kid bebe body with square-cut collarette, gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, bisque forearms with curly fingers and well-defined knuckles and nails (very small chip at the end of right nail of a little finger - please look photo). Her pate is not original.


CONDITION: Her head has been restored!
At the back and right side of her head all ok, but restoration on the forehead and left side of the head (please look photo).
The body in good condition. the bisque shoulderplate in good condition too.

MARKS: F. 1 G. (block letters,head and shoulders).
12 1/2" (32 cm) tall
Rrae small size!

Francois Gaultier, circa 1880, the kid body model was based on the model deposed by Leon Casimir Bru, and only appeared on Gaultier bebes for one or two years.
Early bebe with wonderfully detailed plump facial modelling, exquisite eyes, sturdy original body, antique original batiste dress, vintage leather shoes.
