Bisque socket head with deeply-set small eye sockets, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, mauve blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pale accented lips, separately modeled pierced ears with blue earrings, vintage blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with voice mechanism inside (not working).
She has her original Jumeau Factory Box , original antique silk dress, undergarments, corset, bonnet, leather Jumeau shoes with bee symbol, antique black socks. An antique silk umbrella with dog head IS NOT INCLUDING! Condition She is in very good condition. her bisque free of hairline, cracks, chips or restoration. Very tiny almost invisible on the photos tiny factory hollow on the bridge of nose, between the eyes (please look the last photo). The body has original finish. All original Jumeau Bebe (excepting the wig). Marks: 9 (head) (and untinted white space at back of head) and Bebe Jumeau diplome d'Honneur. (body) 20 1/2" (52 cm) tall, size 9 An especially beautiful doll with deeply modeled features, finest creamy bisque. Emile Jumeau,circa 1890,his Bebe Reclame model,created for Paris department store orders; the untinted white block indicated the spot where department stores could place their own label,promoting the doll as their own store brand.
