Antique german Bebe character doll by Hertel, Schwab & Co, c,1912
A bisque socket-head character doll by Hertel, Schwab & Co., with a short blonde wig, sleeping pale grey glass eyes, and a semi-open mouth with two upper teeth, on a bent-limb composition toddler body. The head impressed "Made in Germany / 152 / 4" He is 13" ( 33cm) high, clothed with cotton baptiste dress and underwear. New white shoes. Excellent condition. Original body finish, the head free of hairlines, restoration etc. Please email me if you have any questions.
