Wonderful Simon & Halbig #1079 is 13 and 1/2" (34 cm) tall factory-original and complete, even with her original box with newspaper of 1899.

Authentically dressed in original folklore costume, cotton underwear, original shoes and socks. She has never undressed, and her perfect bisque head is lightly incised "1079 // S & H // Germany". Sweet brown glass sleep eyes have all-around painted lashes under feathered brows, cheeks are plump and rosy and her open mouth has teeny porcelain upper teeth. Gorgeous original pale-blonde mohair wig is in two long braids down the back.

The original composition and wooden body is fully jointed at neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips & knees, with all-original paint and finish. Her exquisite costume in very good condition, only some wears on the red silk apron. Her fine black shoes with a silver buckles. A cap of black silk, plus her original cardboard box with german newspaper of 1899.
