A bisque-head boy with blue glass eyes, mohair lashes, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette wig, carton torso containing a clockwork mechanism, hinged composition arms and legs, pulling a two-wheel wooden cart with metal spoked wheels. Seated in the cart is a bisque-head girl with blue glass eyes, mohair lashes, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, carton torso, metal rod upper arms and legs, composition lower legs, bisque lower arms.
Condition: ,mechanism functions well. When wound,the boy "walks" forward, pulling the cart. But the large doll boy does not walk on his own, you have to hold the cart behind. The large doll has a hairline on the forehead and at the back. Marks: 1078 German Simon & Halbig S&H 6 (boy); 1300 - 3 1/2 Dep SH (girl). 21" (53 cm.) length. Roullet et Decamps,circa 1900.
