Antique German Bisque Character doll "Whistling Jim" by Gebruder Heubach

15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with flanged neck, sculpted short brown hair with modeling details at forehead, intaglio side-glancing eyes, white upper eyedots,dark upper eyeliner,accent dots at eye corners and nostrils,"O"-shaped mouth with hole for "whistle",muslin body with internal bellows which, when squeezed, emits a whistle.
Antique original costume. Charming lad with well-functioning whistle.

Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (in square) Germany 5. Gebruder Heubach,their model marketed as Whistling Jim,circa 1912.
