She has paper mache head with painted facial features depicting wide-beaming smiling girl,highly blushed cheeks, with blue upper-glancing eyes and brunette hair, with five piece composition body containing clockwork mechanism. She has a small celluloid doll in her hand in very good condition, 4" (10 cm) height. When wound,the doll sway back and forth,in an amusing manner, turns her head and sways from side to side. Condition: generally excellent. Very rare doll with fine original finish,well- functioning,original clothes, designed by French illustrator Poulbot.
France, Roullet & Decamps 1925. The dolls named Toto(boy) and Tata (girl) were designed by Poulbot for Roullet et Decamps to use with this pair of mechanical dolls. I do a layaway.
