This is a fabulous French Guignol theatre toy. We can only imagine with great delight the joy little children experienced as they created all sorts of stories and plays with this theatre. The wood frame has a pediment top with the word "Guignol" in the center. The sides and opening are decorated with ornate and gilt pillars and embellishments. The bottom of the theatre illustrates a wonderful scene of chldren's play.

Measurements: 18 1/2" tall X 10 3/4" wide; (47x27cm)
