Antique French Original Dress for Bebe doll 23-24"

Wonderful red and white checkered dress with red cotton scalloped-edge banding having white embroidered detail and decorated with small silk bow at the front.It is closure at the back with 4 pearl butons and has hand made button holes.
Circa 1885, the style dresses typically appeared on early-model bebes, particularly those of Jules Steiner. Excellent condition to age.

MEASURES:
14.5" (36.5 cm) full length, 6" (15 cm) shoulders, 15" (38 cm) waist, 6 and 1/4" ( 16 cm) sleeve, 7" (17.5 cm) armhole. For doll about 23-24" (58-61 cm).
