Arranged upon a velvet-covered base is a seated bisque lady with blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, carton torso, wire upper arms, bisque lower arms, silk costume lace-trimmed apron and cap, holding a jar of coins. At her side is a velvet-curtained cupboard with advertising for Maison Grondard of Paris and a shelf of various paper mache breads, while a basket of breads and muffins is at her feet. Hidden inside the cupboard are three paper mache heads which, when wound, alternately pop up and down when she turns her head and lifts the coins from the jar, music plays.
