A light-wooden box with decorative paper covers and a lithograph of little boys in baker's costume on the lid, hinges open to reveal a well-fitted interior,with all bisque doll having head, painted features,blue eyes,closed mouth,blonde mohair wig,pin-jointed arms and legs,wearing chef's costume and cap,along with a collection of foods including chops,sausages,breads,rolls,and more,all still tied into the original presentation.
Excellent unplayed with condition.

For the French market,presented in the department store Etrennes catalogs,circa 1900.

9 1/2" x 9 3/4" x 2" (23,5?25?5 ??) box. 5" (12 cm) doll.
