Antique French Silk Taffeta Dress fits Jumeau Bru Steiner Bebe Doll 17-18"
Superb Antique French dress made of moire silk taffeta in very delicate pattern with rose flowers. The jacket style dress features dropped waist, self piping, an insert plastron of magneta striped silk tucks; box pleats at the back waist, long sleeves, magenta silk cuffs. The dress has very rare needle point scalloped and flowered lace trimming the front opening, and forming the collar. It is decorated with rose braid with gold thread and tiny beads at the front. The dress closure at the front with hook & eyes, lined with tan cotton and has a gathered batiste petticoat with lace edging. Fully hand stitched. Good condition to age. Very beautiful dress! MEASURES : 10" (25 cm) full length, 4.5" (12 cm) shoulders, 11" (28 cm) chest, 4.5" ( 12 cm) sleeve, 5" (13 cm) armhole.
