This is a fine quality antique corset for your French Lady doll. It is both hand and machine sewn of sturdy twilled cotton, boned in three places, and bound with blue silk ribbon. It has its original corded lacing and brass grommet holes. The corset is housed in an original pasteboard box that is tissue lined and decorated on the lid with a chromolithographed scrap that is ornamented with glitter and ornamental dyed grasses. The corset does not appear to have been used and is in fine antique condition. The front measures 3 1/2" high (9 cm), and the waist from edge to edge is 6 3/4" (17 cm). Depending on the size of your lady, I would expect it to fit a doll of 15 - 17" (38 - 43 cm) tall.
