This German toy, circa the late 1800s, is in wonderful all original condition. It consists of an 11 inch tall German bisque shoulder head doll with wooden hands and lower legs. The doll is jointed with metal loops to allow her to acrobatically flip through her 9 inch diameter reed hoop. The doll has a brunette mohair wig, blue glass set eyes, and an open mouth with teeth. She wears a great costume decorated with lace, trimming, and red pompoms. The head appears to be in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. I do not see any identifying marks on the head. She would be a great complement to any doll or toy collection.
