Rare model with very fine sculpting enhanced by rich brown eyes, vividly painted lashes and eyeliner, and rose blushed eye shadow, lovely bisque, original signed papier mache and wood body, lovely antique original dress, undergarments, original socks, shoes and bonnet.
Rare to find model in all-original condition and in wonderful petite size having original body and body finish

She is 17 1/2 in (44.5cm.) high height.

Condition: generally excellent, her bisque free of hairline and restoration, there is a very tiny factory firing crack to the rim (please look the last photo). Original body with
original body finish.

Marks: Mascote G. (impressed on back of head), Bebe Macotte Paris (blue ink stamp on lower body). May Freres & Cie,circa 1890.
May Freres, circa 1890, the firm created their bebes for only two or three years before closing their doors, leading to their rarity today.
