Bisque socket head with early pale complexion, plumply-shaped face, large blue glass sleep eyes that operate from wire lever at the back of head, dark eyeliner, painted lashes with dot" accents ,rose-blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostris, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, original blond mohair wig over cardboard pate, Steiner composition fully-jointed body with straight wrists, wearing lovely antique dress, undergarments, stockings. leather shoes, and very fancy silk bonnet.
Rare beautiful childlike features on the early Steiner bebe with very choice bisque and painting, hard-to-find luxury size.

Condition: generally excellent.

Marks: Sie C 5. (incised), J. Steiner SGDG Bourgouin (red stamp). Steiner 5 (eyes signed).
