Very beautiful desirable character baby by Armand Marseilles. She is a perfect size to display beside a larger doll, French fashion or let her take the lead by herself in your cabinet. She will steal the show.
This baby is so adorable with her punched-in dimples, open/closed mouth with a tongue showing between her lips and beautiful amber glass sleep eyes with the original lid wax. Her original 5-piece composition bent limb baby body is the type that she would look fine on a stand as a toddler. Marks: 590 A 5/0 M Germany D.G.R.M. Germany, Marseille,circa 1912. Rarer character model with well modelled features, fine bisque, deeply impressed cheek and mouth dimples. Condition: Excellent bisque head with no chips, breaks, cracks or signs of restoration. Her composition body has no repair, no repaint and has all of its original parts with no fingers missing. Her clothing is antique (the myslin dress, bonnet and slip). HER SMALL CAT NOT FOR SALE!!!
