An enclosed sedan chair ("Chaise a porteur) has three windows with gracefully curved sides,maroon silk-lined interior,and is wonderfully painted with enamel scenes of cherubs at play along with garlands of flowers and leaves.
It has a factory original paper label PROCEDE BREVETE S.G.D.G. MODELE DEPOSE.
Very good condition to age. The silk inside a little bit fragile.
French,circa 1880,a rare size of the desirable accessory.
