Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, slightly-modeled brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with richly-shaded lips, pierced ears, mohair original wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, the sound box inside. There are two pull strings on the side that make the crier sound when you pull. The doll wears antique cotton dress, underwear, straw hat with flowers, vintage leather shoes and socks. She is is marked on the back SFBJ 301 PARIS 11 (incised,head) .

24" (60 cm) tall.
Condition; generally excellent. SFBJ,circa 1900.
