Very beautiful doll with fine creamy bisque, rich decoration of eyes and lips, of the rare model!
Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes in smaller eye cuts, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique aqua silk dress and wonderful bonnet with blue feather and silk bow, original undergarments, socks and pink shoes signed Paris Depose and bee simbol.
Condition: generally excellent.
Her head is in wonderful condition without problems, free of damage, chips, hairlines, repair, however, she does have very short mold line running vertically down the side of her head. These is not hairlines, this is from the mold and were during the firing process.
Her body in very good condition, with original pinting.

Marks: B 10 L.
23" (58 cm) tall.

Emile Jumeau, circa 1890, the model was commissioned for the Parisian department store, Au Louvre.
