White bisque socket head portraying an adult man with highly-defined characterization around the eyes and cheek planes,brown glass sleeping eyes, painted lower lashes, slightly- modeled brush-stroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils of aquiline nose, closed mouth with firmly set lips,center accent line.
French composition and wooden fully-jointed body.
Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: 1303 S&H 8 1/2 (head) Bebe Le Parisien Medaille d'Or Paris (body).

The model was adapted for several variations because of its highly-characterized adult expression. Outstanding sculpture on this example portraying a handsome Pierrot with finest quality of bisque and painting,superb antique original silk Pierrot costume with hand-painted details.
