16 1/2" antique Roullet and Decamps key-wind walking doll model L'Intrepide-Bebe, c. 1905.
Her bisque socket head was made by Simon & Halbig and is inscribed with the mold number 1078//Germany//Simon & Halbig//S&H//6. She has a great German dolly face with feathered brows, stationary brown eyes, molded eyelids, curly upper lashes, painted lower lashes, chubby cheeks, an open mouth showing four upper teeth, very full lips with two different color shading. Her complexion is absolutely perfect giving her the little girl look that she was made to have. She has mohair wig. Her composition body was made by the French firm Roullet and Decamps and has a key-wind clockwork mechanism in her torso. When you wind the key and put some pressure on her legs she will take steps to walk. She does work! She is wearing antique pantaloons, full petticoat, auqa woolen dress, cotton socks and new leather shoes. Her petticoat has a slit on the side for her key-wind to fit through. Condition: Great! Her bisque is perfect. She is without any chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. I do a layaway! Please email me if you have any questions.
