An absolutely darling Antique German Doll, this 17" sweetie is circa-1890 has perfect bisque head incised "S&H 1079 4 DEP, Germany" on original fully-jointed wood & composition body with original paint & finish; attributed to SIMON & HALBIG, this dainty girl has her original mohair wig and wonderful dotted cotton original dress, original hat, shoes and socks. Her gorgeous bisque head has factory-set open big brown glass eyes, painted lower lashes, original brush upper lashes, molded feathered brows, kissable rosy cheeks, dimple in her chin,open mouth with porcelain teeth, glass drop-earrings, and original honey-blonde wig of finest mohair; body has no breakage, no repairs and no repainting. The dotted dress has dropped waist and decorated with red silk ribbon. It comes with the matching silk bonnet, petticoat, chemise & pantalets, knit socks and shoes marked on the soles, are all factory-original and enhance this beautiful little girl from a non-smoking environment. She is 13" (34 cm) tall.
