13" (33 cm) Superb Antique Early Simon&Halbig 1079 DEP doll Antique dolls at Respectfulbear.com

This is an early Simon and Halbig doll for the French market, she dates from 1895 and is impressed on the back of her head with the maker SH 1079-4 DEP GERMANY.

Her striking blue glass eyes open and close perfectly. There are top and lower painted eyelashes and heavy multi stroke eyebrows. Her mouth is open in a petite smile with four tiny upper teeth. She has pierced ears. An original mohair wig.

She has a perfect head with a good clear bisque.
She is on a top quality German body with the extra ball joints at the shoulders, the original paint and sheen.
Only part of the left foot has been lost (please look photo).

She is wearing all her antique white dress and hat, vintage blue leather shoes.
