Posed upon a velvet tapestry covered wooden base is a bisque head nanny doll with large blue glass eyes, painted features, closed mouth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, carton torso and legs, wire upper arms, bisque forearms and wearing original magenta silk costume with black velvet trim, lace ruffled bonnet.
She rests her hands on the side of a metal cradle fitted with lace and silk blankets and containing a little all-bisque baby. The nanny is designed to lean forward and backward, thus rocking the cradle, when wound at the back. Condition - generally excellent, mechanism functions willfully. Doll marked 2/0.
