10" Early German bisque Sonnenborg child doll with solid head and closed mouth, c.1885
10" bisque solid socket head, brown glass eyes, closed mouth with nicely painted lips, pierced ears with earings, nicely painted facial features, original straight-wrist Sonnenborg style body, antique multi-layer costume. Excellent bisque and nice original body finish. Nice little cabinet size version of this early closed-mouth child doll. She is 10" (25 cm.) Maker unknown, circa 1885.
