The arched mahogany mirror with fruitwood striping is attached to a bracketed frame which allows the mirror to pivot forward and backward.
Good condition to age. French, circa 1860, the mirror is known as "Psyche mirror" in reference to the famous mid-century French paper doll Psyche which was often partnered with the doll in order to show its many costumes.
The mirror is scaled perfectly for display with poupees.
