This highly elegant antique parasol is an charming addition to any doll’s trousseau. Having a bonne-handle and tip, the eight-tined folding parasol has its original silk cover and llace trim at the bottom edge and at the tip.
The handle has delicate carving all along its length leading to the metal superstructure which enables the parasol to open and close with ease.
This little darling is rarer than most with bonne tips to the end of each of the umbrella’s blades and extended length, fancy carved bone finial to the top of the canopy.
This is in good condition, small holes on the silk because age.
French,circa 1865,a rare parasol color with luxury detail of trim.
8" (20 cm) tall, for fashion doll about 13-14" (33-36 cm) tall.
