26" (67 cm) Very beautiful creamy bisque enhanced by deeply sculpted features, original signed body.
Bisque socket head,blue glass paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,lushly-painted lashes, brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, dimpled chin, original mohair wig over cork pate,
French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with crying mechanism (it doesn't works),very lovely lace&silk dress,undergarments,lace bonnet, leather shoes.

Condition: generally excellent. her bisque free if hairline, cracks, restoration, any damage.
Her body in very good condition, with original painting.

Marks: "D" and red mark DEPOSE BEBE JUMEAU SGDG 12 with artist checkmarks (head), Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'Honneur (body).
Emile Jumeau, circa 1890, from the series of commissioned bebe for Paris department and doll stores,the store indicated by the initial "D"remains a mystery.
