Antique German Bisque Socket Head Doll marked 'WALKURE' Germany' by Kley & Hahn.
J.D. Kestner Company made the Walkure heads for the Kley & Hahn company circa early 1900s.
She is on her Original composition and turned wood body in good condition with the more unusual separate shoulder balls.
Perfect Bisque Head with NO chips, NO cracks, NO repairs.
Lovely creamy bisque with softly blushed cheeks and NO rubs.
Nicely shaped upturned nose with pink accent dots.
Shaded and outlined lips in deep peachy pink with upturned corners in the Kestner style. Mouth is open showing four pearly upper teeth. And, she has a soft dimple in her chin.
Beautiful, big, deepest chocolate brown sleep eyes.
Molded brows with feathered strokes and delicate upper and lower painted lashes with pink accent dots on the inner corners.
Her curled wig in good condition.
She is dressed in a gorgeous antique deep dark purple silk gown with exquisite beaded collar and lace trim at the hem and at the sleeves.
Undies include an antique black silk chemise with lace edging, cotton white pantaloon, antique leather shoes.
She has pierced ears and wears very lovely earrings.

A wonderful, large and very beautiful doll that would be a star in your collection.
