Solid domed papier-mache head with black enamel eyes,all-around painted lashes, arched brows, open mouth, two tiny teeth, light silk or mohair wig in very elaborate original coiffure, papier-mache shapely torso and legs, wire upper arms,wooden lower arms, posed standing on a tinplate platform with three spoked wheels. Original key.
When wound,the lady glides and twirls.
Very good condition to age, but her wonderful antique costume very worn (please look photos).
Theroude, circa 1850,from his series of small mechanical toys. A tinplate platform with three spoked wheels made of Vichy (it has his mark on the base).

Very fine state of originality,the elaborate coiffure with braided coronet and decorated with flowers , and having fine necklace ,wearing original silk gown with lace trim.
